Men of the Northern Illinois Conference
12th National Gathering (PDF)
“Discipleship – the Contact Sport”
This another mountain top experience for all in attendance. There will be great messages plus 22 workshops that you can choose from – you can attend three. We’ve been talking about this for months, but now is the time to get this out to your men. The $99 early registration rate goes up on April 1, so men that take action now save money and will have better choices on hotel rooms. The Gathering will be held at St. Luke’s UMC north of Indianapolis – about a three hour drive from Chicago. It kicks off Friday July 7, with the Ministry Fair and Prayer line at 3:00, and the first Gathering at 7:00 pm so many of us can leave home around noon and get there for the opening festivities. If you opt to worship with the folks on Sunday morning – you should be back home early afternoon.

At the meeting we elected the next quadrennial officers for the conference UMM. (New Officers for the conference) George Groves of the Aurora District was elected President.
George ask for a moment of personal privilege and announced that Steve Nailor has been elected National President of the UMM through the National Association of Presidents.
